In the event that your child is ill and you wish to make a sick visit we strive to accommodate you with a same day appointment. If an appointment cannot be scheduled with your primary provider we will invite you see another provider that day.
We understand the impact developmental and behavioral issues can have on your children and family. Our providers will work with families and schools to make sure your children are getting the care they need. Follow up and consultation visits are allotted more time than typical sick or well visits. This allows your provider to address all of your concerns thoroughly.
A follow up visit is defined as a visit to your caregiver for:
- Medication check that is recommended every 6 months for children taking medication for ADHD/ADD
- An acute illness such as an ear infection that resulted in perforation or continued or worsening symptoms following an initial sick visit
- Traumatic injuries with weekly monitoring such as concussions or suture/staple removal
A consultation visit is defined as a visit to your caregiver for:
- Chronic headaches, stomachaches, back pain
- Behavioral or developmental problems
- Emotional or domestic/family problems
- Initial ADHD/ADD evaluations
- Feeding/Eating problems
- Ongoing chronic health discussions
