Stephanie M. Grice
Dr. Stephanie Grice grew up in western New York, near Buffalo, where she became a die-hard Bills fan. She received bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Psychology from Long Island University. Her medical degree is from State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate in Syracuse, NY in 2010. She first came to Charlottesville for her pediatric residency at UVA, through which she began working with Dr. Michel and the Piedmont Pediatrics team. While a resident, she was recognized with a teaching award and a community advocacy award. Following her residency, she returned to New York to work in Pediatric Urgent Care. She is well practiced in acute illness and various musculoskeletal and traumatic injuries including fractures, sprains, concussions and lacerations. After a year, she returned to Piedmont Pediatrics full time. She has a special interest in childhood fitness and nutrition. When she isn't in the office, Dr. Grice enjoys music, outdoor activities and water sports, and most of all, spending time with family, including her husband, Jon Renshaw, and step-daughter, Marcella.
