Our Providers

Dr. Mary Anne Mayo grew up in North Carolina. She attended college at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill and medical school at East Carolina University. She completed her internship in Pediatrics at ECU School of Medicine before returning to UNC to finish residency. She was selected as Pediatric Chief Resident in 1996-1997. She practiced Pediatrics for three years in North Carolina before moving to Charlottesville and joining Piedmont Pediatrics in December 2000. Outside of Pediatrics, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Marty, and four children, Zachary, Kathryn, Jacob and Matthew. She also enjoys cooking, running and outdoor activities.
