Our Providers

Monica Hobeck was born and raised in Guatemala. She moved to The US at 19 years old to become a registered nurse. She worked at Piedmont Pediatrics as a nurse after receiving her Associates of Science in Nursing and then moved on to get her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University in 2016. Monica worked at Martha Jefferson Hospital and then as a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse at UVA Children's Hospital. As she continued to acquire experience in pediatric acute and intermediate care, she developed a desire to further her education and take part in patients' preventative and continuity of care. Monica went on to earn her Masters of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University in 2020. She has now joined Piedmont Pediatrics team as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner part-time. 

In her free time, Monica enjoys hiking with her family, gardening, baking and reading.
